Madrid metro paralyzed by a massive strike

A massive general strike of metro workers in Madrid has hit millions of people.
The action began on Monday and is scheduled to last until Wednesday.Earlier, the strikes promised to keep a small number of trains running but on Tuesday they went back on their promise, bringing the entire metro system to a halt.
The workers are protesting a 5% salary cuts considered by the regional government.
