The Railway Museum in Madrid displays one of the more complete collections of historic railway equipment of Europe.
This museum is located at the old railway station "las Delicias" inaugurated in 1880 by the king Alfonso XII. In 1980 was declared "Historical Monument", then BIC (Building of Cultural Interest) and December 19, 1984 opened its doors as the Railway Museum.

Opening hours : Tuesday to Sunday: from 10.00 to 15.00 h. Monday: closed. August: closed. Holidays that the museum is closed: 1 and January 6, May 1 and December 25
Prices : Individual Entry: 4.50 euros. Reduced Single Entry: 3 euros (students, children 4 to 12 years, 3rd age, with ID). Saturdays, free admission. * Groups (from 16 persons): EUR 2.50 * The group rate is not subject to any reduction or exemption.
