El Rastro
El Rastro is a typical and popular fleamarket outdoor that one should go in Madrid. It is held in the morning on Sundays and public holidays from 9h to 14h.
El Rastro was declared in 2000 the Cultural Heritage of Madrid. It works as a market from several centuries and today remains at the same place.
Besides being able to buy everything you can imagine, you can also take a glass and some tapas in the bars that surround it.
This market is located near the Plaza Mayor and within walking distance from Puerta del Sol.
